What you will learn & create:

• Basics of fashion waste and upcycling: why turning old clothes into meaningful product matters for fashion sustainability and how it impacts your fashion footprint.

• Basic Hand sewing techniques.

• Design & assembly: how to fold, layer and secure fabric pieces into a sturdy stand structure that holds smartphones horizontally or vertically.
  

• Take-away your own upcycled phone stand: each participant leaves with a finished product they created themselves, ready for daily use or gifting.

Workshop details:

• Duration: 1.5 hours 

• Materials included: Upcycled fabrics sourced by us (Cotton and mixed fabrics), basic craft tools, Sewing supplies - Scissors, Needle/Thread, Rulers, Pencils etc., Participants may bring their own old clothes (clean and washed clothes. Only Cotton or mixed cotton fabrics are used for this workshop. Synthetic fabrics or T-shirts are not ideal for this workshop.

Note: Duration of the workshop is fixed
