Founder of Scrapplique Galore Singapore

Our Story

The journey began in 2020, during the global pandemic, when Mdm. Roopa observed the alarming impact of fashion waste on the environment. What started as an experiment with discarded fabrics soon evolved into Scrapplique Galore — a creative platform where sustainability meets artistry. Through months of exploration and innovation, she developed her own distinctive technique that gives old garments a new life with extended shelf value and aesthetic appeal.

Our Craft

Each piece from Scrapplique Galore embodies a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern design. From abstract wall art decor to everyday fashion accessories, every creation is a reflection of our commitment to reducing carbon footprint, limiting fashion waste in landfills, and promoting conscious consumerism.

Our Recognition

Scrapplique Galore’s sustainable artistry has garnered appreciation from customers across the world and recognition from institutions in Singapore, including the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE). The brand continues to raise awareness through public exhibitions, workshops, features, and collaborations that highlight the power of creative reuse.

Empowering Through Awareness

Beyond design, Mdm. Roopa Sirisha is an active speaker and mentor who champions the cause of sustainability. Through symposiums, educational talks, and interactive workshops, She empowers individuals and organizations to adopt responsible fashion practices, reduce waste, and embrace upcycling as a way of life.

CSR Commitment

At Scrapplique Galore, sustainability extends beyond products. Our workshops aim to reduce fashion waste while fostering inclusion and empowerment among marginalized communities.
